I have a relative who's been doing just that for years. Clearly, he's ahead of the curve. I've known him for seven years, and he's actually worked for perhaps two years of that stretch, with four on L&I (as they call it in WA St.). No wonder our state (and nearly all others) have gigantic holes in their budgets.
