Truthfully, I think she made the age-old mistake of over-apologizing, which often implies guilt when none is warranted.

Back in the late 90s she was the only afternoon talk show I could get in my office, so I often heard her show. I think anyone who has listened to her show knows the accusations are beyond ridiculous.

I never thought Imus was guilty of anything other than slightly off-color humor, which was his trademark. But it was far beyond anything D. Laura said IMO.
