I also noticed the 300 mm capacity utilization stat when I updated my spreadsheets and charts. In a Seeking Alpha article posted at Wennerstrom there was the following quote: "A decline in capacity utilization is a sign of slowing sales; hence, the importance this measure is accorded." You will recall my previous caution about posting articles from that source. Apparently, it takes an Einstein to understand that "capacity utilization" has two contributing factors, "capacity" and "utilization," and each may vary.
