As I understand it Burpie... there is a journalist who keeps meticulous records (hour-by-hour I heard :-) of the time Presidents spend out of Washington on vacation, and he has kept these records for many years now. At this exact point on the calendar, Bush II had spent more then twice as much time 'on vacation' as Obama has.... :-) (Although, in this modern age of telecommunications and the 'Imperial Presidency' I doubt that ANY modern President is ever very far away - in time or space - from his never-ending work load.)
