Tomorrow's going to be a D-day for Apple, Crabbs described it at:

zdnet.com

The following may be revealed:

o Who the permanent Apple CEO and Chairman will be;
o What new partnerships and deals The New Apple has cut;
o What kinds of state-of-art products and prices Apple intends to win
us back with;
o How Apple intends to get those products out of factories and into
our hot little hands;
o Whether Steve has bet enough of the farm to save all the crops.

My personal belief that Stock's pattern is not always following the
same pattern. Your description regarding Apple's pattern is what has
occurred in last August's MacWorld in Boston, the stock shot up to
26+, then the following day after media reports, it went up to 29.75
then gradually retreated back to the current level. I would be very
curious to see if the same pattern will repeat again.

Based on my observation in last week's pattern, the short sellers
held their ground firmly regardless of the strong buying forces.
It seems short sellers are prepared to fight this battle no matter
how much cash they throw into the pot. As a shareholder, I appreciate
what Jobs has done to Apple. Jobs has made Apple revitalized
and made Apple as a hot topics again.
