The truth about joint replacements is universal. That everyone can be helped isn't ;)

I don't disagree, but one can reproduce an outcome a million times then have a failure. Does that mean the science isn't any good? I don't think so.

Of course, some sciences, like Physics, are rooted in mathematics and tend to yield reproducible results. But would you exclude biology or nanosystems or cellular chemistry from science? Because lots of times these results can be difficult to reproduce consistently for any number of reasons. Particularly, where life is involved, you're going to have weirdness from time to time. Still, it is science, if only the science of the non-reproducible.

I doubt we'll resolve this here, however...
