The Danes.....there is a small museum in Copenhagen called the "Resistance Museum". It contains information and material from the war, including homemade weapons and heart wrenching letters from young men scheduled to be executed. There is also a amateur film of the German landing....it wasn't nearly as mild as you suggest. There were lots of soldiers, tanks, and planes. The Danes could put up no significant defense.
