Intel earned 86.1% share in the mobile PC processor segment, a loss of -1.7%. AMD finished the quarter with 13.7%, a gain of 1.6%, and Via Technologies earned 0.2%

Intel said in their CC that they passed up some business rather than go bottom fishing. Looks like AMD picked up the bottom fish.

Mr Tab,

Re: " ... Not sure how AMD's ability to grab marketshare from Intel in the mobile sector can
be characterized as going off a cliff ..."

Do you often drive your car by "staring" in the rearview mirror ??. Also not wise to invest using that
strategy.

Mr Tab,

Re: "As for the first point, saying AMD smells like "shite" as a result of anything they have done is a bit spurious ... I freely
admit I am on the wrong side of my trades during this cycle ... When I cash out I'll let you know. Perhaps my streak of never
losing money on AMD ends."

Looks like your "streak" has come to a crashing end.
