Welcome aboard Wayne. I believe Creative does use CUBE, although it is not publicized. Others on this thread will be able to provide you with additional, and more detailed info. David, BillyG, and FredE, could you assist our fellow shareholder Wayne? Thanks. Bill.

Welcome aboard, Wayne. Creative's Encore product supposedly uses CUBE's "ZiVA" DVD decoder. Jazz Multimedia also uses CUBE's ZiVA in its PC-DVD board. I suspect that Toshiba is using CUBE in its recently announced laptops with DVD, because of its low power consumption (and of course high performance). Samsung, Aiwa, and others are using CUBE in their DVD players.
