It is fully functional. I have corresponded with both the director and one of the system engineers. It is another example of a hybrid LAN, the best information I have is that is their storage link. The performance is probably also limited by the same factors that have limited FC in general - bus speed. I discuss both FC and ATM in an article written for physicians in this month's edition of the Minnesota Physician.
