I'm all for "Free Trade." However, regarding Fast Track, I'm not sure whether I would like to take the power for determining trade policies away from Congress and give it to the President. I this case, Clinton says he will use Fast Track to promote free trade. But, remember that the power could also be used the other way. A president could apply the power provided by Fast Track to implement a protectionist policy.
