General Conway said yesterday that we were going to remain in Afghanistan until THE MILITARY felt it was time to leave! Shortly after that, Admiral Mike Mullen, head of the JCS, came on and said the current schedule would be adhered to, "refudiating" Conway. Here in the United States, we have a CIVILIAN CONTROLLED military. Estimates for how long it will take to get Afghanistan just to the level Iraq is at range from 3-10 years...
