You didn't find Bay thread at 16 1/2 too depressing so I think you should be able to handle this one.

Cruiser, I know that Bay has bailed out the boat and is getting back on course but IMHO I don't think they have a broad enough product base to survive by themselves. Being an engineer I've looked at the products and made a decision based on hardware and management styles. My guess based on what I know at this moment is Cisco #1 and 3Com #2 in the long run. Bay may be a turnaround candidate that might survive but my gut says otherwise. I guess we all have to stick out our neck and make decisions on what we know. If you have any ideas or info please let me know! Good investing, Eric
