Entitlements Out of Control Unfortunately my photo of the price listings at Acadia National Park turns out to be insanely blurry. My point, however, was that the National Park Service’s senior citizen discounts are absurdly generous. An “America the Beautiful” pass to all National Parks for one year costs $80, whereas U.S. citizens over the age of 62 can get a lifetime pass for just $10. I think the deficit commission ought to take this on and leave Social Security alone yglesias.thinkprogress.org
