Mark, I haven't seen any indications of a problem with cascade, and right now cascade looks like the best part of the situation. This merger made perfect sense, much more than 3com's. They have an end-to end solution for wan networks that everyone else wants and no one has except Cisco. If this stock seems to make so much sense for another company to buy(LU rumor,NT,Bay,etc..). Then why doesn't it make sense as a stand alone company. I also want to say that the uninformed bashing of Ascends managment is crazy. Mory took this company from 0 to a billion $ company in 5 years. If thats bad managment then you guys don't have a clue. When the merger was first announced one of the big issues was that Ascends excellent managment would be spread to thin over the organization. Ascend's managment learned a hard lesson, only tell the analyst what you know, not what you think. Ascend was blind sided by this quaters events and lost credability. Mory and his people are some of the best in the buisiness, but this is the real test.
