Jeff, They justify it on hope that AOL will find some way to successfully tap its customer base for more than $19.95 a month. Ad revenue, AOL's best shot, seems to have fallen off a bit. As a percentage of overall revenues, non-subscription revenue did increase year-over-year. One of these days they might actually find a new business model that can successfully replace their current outmoded model. Or maybe not.
Best,
Steve

I don't mean to be disrespectful to America On-line holders, but...

If I were to be holding AOL now, I sure would be giving it back to the MM's on Monday.

It's just too risky in today's market!

Does anyone have access to open books or know the current Sells on this ticker?

I used to use Sprynet (owned by Compuserve). Never got a busy signal, until AOL took it over. The very first busy signal, I changed to @Home! Believe me, NO BUSY SIGNALS!. In fact you don't even have to dial with this direct connect. I don't think I have to say anything about the speed.
