Never.

Well, maybe once or twice. Well, ok, lots of times.

What I did learn this past 3 weeks with the volatility, you probably already know.

That is: in a market such as this that reacts to the slightest ill wind or change in sentiment, cash is king. Today, I am over 80% cash. It doesn't matter how confident you are in a position, it can always get cheaper to buy your stock due to market fluctuations. And, options are very very expensive right now. IMO, the only way to make money on options is to be very selective and VERY quick.

Did you notice that the spread on the Nov and Feb 25 calls on Friday reached 1/2 point? That's ridiculous.

Even if your favorite stock doesn't get cheaper, your second or third favorite stock will most likely get cheaper in the very near future.

By the way, the 20% I hold in stock is 99% Iomega. Still can't resist.

Good luck.
