Only short term: a lot of my indicators are turning bullish. This is not what I expected to see, but the strength in the market, even if short-lived, is a warning not to marry short positions just yet.

I say this because money flow has been diverging bullishly in regard to the Dow. What's even more impressive is that both the MidCap and SmallCap indices (MID and SML) are showing bullish divergence in regard to money flow.

It's going to be very hard (but not impossible) for the bears to maintain control and I could see a short-covering rally to a higher high before long. A lot will depend on the ISM numbers next week. Risks are very high for short sellers (short term), but not much better for bulls, of course.

If one is short and holds here, a fortune will be made by mid-December - though it is quite risky short term.

Sentiment remains extremely negative. I can't say that's totally bullish because the crowd is always right in the middle of a move. But, I have yet to see an exhaustion rally and those are pretty much standard for the lead in to a big plunge.

Yeah, the T-bonds got very exuberant on Ben QE lite front
running. It doesn't take a whole lot of positive news to
crash 'em a bit here. That cash flows to stocks.
