NY officials for PUBLIC funding of mosque! .... New York City Comptroller John Liu says he supports public funding for the Ground Zero Victory Mosque. Reuters reported, via Free Republic: The Muslim center planned near the site of the World Trade Center attack could qualify for tax-free financing, a spokesman for City Comptroller John Liu said on Friday, and Liu is willing to consider approving the public subsidy. ..... gatewaypundit.firstthings.com Sure liberal NYer's would do that for a church, wouldn't they? Ha ha ha. If this doesn't show liberals WANT a mosque there, what does? We don't publicly fund religious institutions in America, especially not churches, especially not in liberal strongholds. Course the liberals are now into denial the mosque is a mosque, its a community center .... headed by an imam .... but if its true its not a mosque doesn't that mean its not a religous freedom issue? Don't liberals have to drop the "freedom of religion" issue if they say its not a mosque? No, liberals don't need to be intellectually consistent.
