Correct.

We can never go back, the river of history moves on and you can't enter it at the exact same place ever again.

Still, rightly or wrongly, I (like many Americans), tend to want to hold my American Presidents 'responsible' for what they achieve, or fail to achieve, during their terms in office.

ESPECIALLY when they are granted the maximum amount of time that our Constitution allows them in that office, two full consecutive terms.
