On Geraldo Rivera's show on Fox News last night, it was great to see Al Sharpton gloomily pouting that Beck's rally was different than he thought it would be. The look on his mug was the highlight of my week. Sharpton can see the writing on the wall that a positive, sincere, wholly American message of unity has far, far more power than his own divisive agenda. He now feels things slipping in a way he never could have anticipated. May his brand of industrial-strength divisiveness continue to crumble.

Every time I've seen or heard Sharpton in the last 23 years the first thought in my mind was, "Tawana Brawley."
