While I believe in American exceptionalism and opportunity, I also believe that the current state of affairs with respect to government debt, spending and regulation, and tax, social, energy, and foreign policy, leaves significant room for improvements in many ways. Including in many ways that could improve prospects for continued U.S. growth and prosperity. I think Dale likes to keep this thread free of political discussions, and so if you want to continue a discussion along those lines I'd like to suggest we take it to PM.
