I believe it is +/- 2% to 3%. But more importantly, if it is in the -2 to -3% range, it has to be on low volume (I hope I am quoting Brinker correctly). My own reasoning is that a high volume could imply a sell-off leading to a more serious downturn, and therefore, it is better to be on the sidelines in such a situation...

No...Not +/-. Bob said 2% within the LOW of 71xx something is a good price, but he did NOT say "Gift Horse".

Have you EVER heard BB talk about a fancy strategy with volumes? Not me (unless it is for a more sophisticated investor than the general audience). He thinks the benchmark low has been set and might be tested again, but still looks for 8300-8500 in the near future.

As I write, it sounds like he is suggesting dumping Micron....., MU, though I never remember him saying he liked the stock either. I wonder if he would short it and tell us? I sort of doubt it.
