Khrushchez pulled the missiles because he came to realize Castro was a physho. Castro kept telling Khrushchez to fire the missiles and nuke the USA, K said to Castro if I do that Cuba will be completely destroyed,Castro said I don't care nuke America. K told his people pull the nukes,I'm not gonna let a mad man start WW 3.
