It's not so categorical. One doesn't have to stay short or long consistent with some signal to succeed. But if success is going to be measured in minutes, well, then, you're right -- and you're almost always going to be a loser (at some moment) after making a decision short of an immediate stop loss. whether or not you follow a model or not.

I still don't comprehend the manic swings in sentiment on this board. I rarely get overly excited, or despondent in a matter of minutes after putting a position on, and I am invested full tilt must of the time. I made a lot long on Friday (and was up a fair bit last week, long the whole time), and my positions continue to work today.

In any event, good look. I guess I just can't work well with intra-day trade analysis. It's just not relevant or helpful to me.
