While I don't understand the point you make by posting this article, I do know that those Vets suffering from diabetes may simply be joining the rapidly growing overweight or obese US population. There is a high correlation between diabetes and being overweight.

The vets are receiving compensation for being fat. Call on Obama to do the right thing, for once, and fix the system...or is that not the kind of 'change' that he wants?

Many years ago I knew man whose job in the navy was filling the planes tanks with agent orange and he could never get a nickel for any of his many ailments.

Guess times have changed.

How much more a month would you be willing to pay for your health care so people with existing conditions can be covered?

Nice to see the Dow above 11,000 again. It is a vote of confidence for the economic recovery.

Republicans lead by 51% to 41% among registered voters in Gallup weekly tracking of 2010 congressional voting preferences. The 10-percentage-point lead is the GOP's largest so far this year and is its largest in Gallup's history of tracking the midterm generic ballot for Congress.
