D.C. was great and glad I took time to go. Weather was good and the people, all around me, were very polite and civil. Alveda’s speech was outstanding and touched many in the crowd. Proud day for those of us who served as some of us are deeply concerned the direction we are now taking as a country. I hear most of the media didn’t bother to pick-up on the event which is not surprising. Honor, dignity, God, character are not words most of the media are familiar with. Enough preaching! I enjoyed the trip and look forward to the next one. I might mention there were several familiar faces in the crowd. Hopefully that will surface later.
