Ted, Krugman thinks that the federal government didn't do enough "stimulus." He won't give dollar amounts, but it's clear to me that he thinks we ought to increase deficit spending by half a trillion dollars per year.

If Krugman wants to discuss America's "fiscal future," he might want to defend how his plan squares with it, rather than attack other people's plans for making "no useful contribution."
