I can understand his sentiment. You tend to daytrade against your market direction signals fairly often, which tends to be confusing to many on this board.

I can also understand it, but my day trades occur typically when prices are hovering around the vertical price and a turn in the market appears imminent...

For the more "conservative" position traders here, unless you're adept at jumping in and out when the wind changes, it's probably safer to trade in the direction of the main signal. Am I right, GZ?

Definitely, yes, if one only took the signal and did nothing else they would do probably just as well as day trading in and out... but, I make very clear that I'm taking one or another position for my personal account when the market reaches and/or approaches the vertical price OR approaches the deadline due date for a scheduled turn around...

Also agree with a lot of people here. The lack of a follow through to Friday's upside outside reversal is not good for the intermediate term.

Yes, I also agree... the lack of follow through and the continued weakness today is not a hopeful sign for things to come...
