lAs far as Im concerned until someone proves otherwise, the concept of a general fiscal stimulus has been shown to be worthless. There is simply no evidence that, given a generally lousy outlook, you can fix it with spending. The added debt simply offsets any positive benefit that might be derived. Highly targeted tax cuts, a different thing.
