Resolute Mining hits additional high grade gold at Welcome Breccia

proactiveinvestors.com.au

Perth-based Resolute Mining (ASX: RSG) has intersected more high grade gold mineralisation at the Welcome Breccia prospect, 40km north-west of its Ravenswood gold mine in Queensland.

Three additional diamond drill holes intersect broad zones of gold mineralisation within strongly altered breccia and associated quartz veining including abundant visible gold.

The highlight of the latest three diamond drill holes was an intercept of 55m @ 10.54g/t Au from 420m, including 14m @ 21.83g/t Au from 425m from drill hole WED007.

Other significant results included 15m @ 2.76g/t Au from 472m and 12m @ 6.18g/t Au from 524m in WED005 and 50m @ 3.87g/t Au from 298m and 25m @ 2.12g/t Au from 361m in WED006.

Peter Sullivan, CEO, said “these high grade results continue to confirm the significance of this new discovery."

High grade gold mineralisation has now been defined over 200m vertically and remains open at depth and laterally.

Further drilling to test the extents of this mineralisation is underway and geochemical surveys are planned to test for additional sulphide bearing breccia pipes in the immediate region.
