It seems that virtually all the humans took the day off yesterday (and so far today) and left the robots in charge of trading. The robots picked up an early downtrend yesterday and simply continued to ride it for all it was worth. With no natural buyers in the market, the market simply took back most of what it had gained on Friday.

It's highly unusual to see the S&P bounce off the 1040 level for the third time in less than a week.

So far what I see (short term) is an uptrend that's intact. From last Wednesday's low, I have two higher highs and two higher lows, which pretty well defines an uptrend.

Beyond this week, these markets are f*cked big time into mid December.

Strange things happen in a suicidal society.
