YOU are the one who said that "all government jobs" are wasteful. No, I wrote: "Government cannot create any job that benefits the economy. It can only create wasteful jobs." The context was obvious. Porkulus is a pure waste of resources. Government should not be in the business of picking winners. The free market does a better job of that. The winners picked by the market are rational. How they are rational is not always obvious. Economies flourish when governments concentrate on things like the three roles our Founding FAthers envisioned for our central government. Free economies flourish.
