IVIOX and IVWAX may be the last opportunity to get into First Eagle type performance before they get too large. Charles de Vaulx is the manager of the Investors Value Funds and he used to be co-manager of First Eagle's Overseas and Intl. funds. Just before he was scheduled to become sole manager at First Eagle, he jumped ship for a lot more money and autonomy at Investors Value. He has not yet proven that he can be a winner at First Investors, but I think it is a good bet while he still has manageable sized portfolios.
