Sharpton can also box. He proved that in his two fights with CORE President Roy Innis. Innis is a bully who pounded skinheads on Geraldo's show, and the skinheads broke Geraldo's nose, which was a treat, and cheap shot Sharpton on the late Morton Downey's show. Both Geraldo and Downey egged on violence on their shows for ratings. Sharpton told Innis that if he wanted to fight, they should do it in the ring for charity. When they did, Sharpton showed Ali like footwork. They had huge gloves, so nobody landed a serious shot.
