By statistical definition, correlation does not indicate cause and effect -- an analysis of variance, with well defined variables, addresses such issues. Perhaps one should examine the disparate populations being sampled??? Regardless, a popularity correlation may be thought provoking, but is of little to no predictive significance. Large hands correlate to big feet; nevertheless hands aren't feet. That is why I said "Who cares" and "Two wrongs don't make a right." I think the horse has died. :^)
