Hedge fund managers as a group do nothing productive in my opinion

Interesting perspective given I believe this thread was started by someone who became a very successful hedge fund manager.

Whats productive. To me - making money is productive. So are you saying those who manage money full time - whether here on Si or as a well paid hedge fund manager do nothing productive?
