Dear Cisco:

Isn't it great that we can discuss any topic in love and not offend anyone.or at least if I do that I still find God's forgiveness.

I know what you mean, this may not be the best "time" to open up this can of worms but I will close with what I feel are just some personal thoughts.

I am baptized in the holy spirit but I do not feel that God can possibly love me any more or less than what he would another of his children who are not baptized in the spirit. I feel this has afforded me no special priveledge from God that he would not bestow on another of his children.

I grew up Episcopal but am now of a pentacostal faith. My poor mother cried when she found I converted- she so ,so, loves her Anglican roots. I once went home to a service and the power of the holy spirit fell on me in the middle of that Anglican service and I almost passed out in the spirit-- it took all of my earthly strength to resist the power of God. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I passed out in the spirit-- they would have probably called the rescue squad for me...........

In Christ.......gregor
