at age 10 and upon exiting china i attended dbs.edu.hk for one year in hong kong, got straight-f except for english

studied the bible, but because i did not know how to study, having never studied any subjects except home-taught english, chinese and algebra up until that point, and having gotten overturned by new subjects (bible, geometry, geography, history, sciences), i treated the bible as it perhaps should be treated, as stories but with a lot of difficult to remember names. the only thing i remember from the stories is "... beget ... beget ... beget ...)"

in the mean time, just in in-tray,

... check out this film if you get time super interesting about our government, my cousin who is in the movie industry, he makes commercials for xxxx and xxxxx. it is about 2 hours so if you find the time watch at least the first 20 minutes.

Perhaps the instructor did not understand the meaning of the verses. You can't teach what you don't know. In USA, public schools do not have Bible classes. They take "the separation from church and state" too literally.
