Oddly enough, I think Obama has done more to damage Palin's chances than the media. Sarah and Hillary are alike in the sense that they both became polarizing figures albeit in different parties and Hillary likely would have won in 2008 had Obama not pulled off an upset in the primary. What we have now though, is that Americans played the wild card in the last election and I think it will be a while before the country is ready to do that again.
