amarksp, NiMin Energy (NNN.TO) -- hard to make much sense out of this sort of volume, on no news and with no PR's expected until next week at the earliest. I suppose we should be happy that whoever has this many shares, and who wants out of the stock this badly, is being accomodated in that regard before the expected good news comes out.

I've more or less ruled out my earlier speculation that the volume had something to do with imminent new analyst coverage, at least from the guy I know. The company has several other analysts looking at it but none are getting a report ready to my knowledge.

Isn't it weird that the buyer(s) and seller(s) somehow each decided that the price of C$1.09 was a good price at which to transact business for this stock. That price has no connection to any fundamental valuation metric as far as I can tell.
