If it EVER LOOKED like it might be able to pass they would drop it like the hottest of potatoes and start throwing new roadblocks in front of it. But they know it hasn't a ghost of a chance... so it's FREE RHETORIC for them. :-) Re: "Others like me want it with a BBA" I'm sure that you are sincere in that! But it hasn't a prayer.... not the slightest of chances. So ALL IT IS DOING is serving as the last gasp, and most cynical of all, roadblocks in front of American getting a constitutional amendment to require balanced federal budgets... solving our deficits problems once and for all.) If you want to stop being a part of the roadblock, and yet remain TRUE to your beliefs... then ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CALL FOR THE TWO ITEMS TO BE PASSED AS SEPARATE AMENDMENTS! And let the voters of America decide if they want one, or both, or neither.
