Another Left winger goes off the map! James Jay Lee Captured: Discovery Channel Building Held Hostage (Video) by Mitch Marconi James J. Lee is believed to have been shot by police officers and captured in a Discovery TV hostage situation. According to authorities, Lee allegedly held three hostages at the Discovery Communications building in Silver Spring, MD. Police believe their suspect is James Jay Lee, a longtime protestor of Discovery. Lee was arrested in March 2008 for disorderly conduct and was given supervised probation. Lee views apparently are that humans are ruining the planet and Discovery should work harder to develop programs to sound the alarm on that. The gunman is in custody and the hostages are currently safe. Police said that the gunman, believed to be Lee, is currently in unknown condition. The gunman set off an explosion when he was shot. Other explosive devices could still be in the building as authorities scour the Discovery Communication building.
