We completely disagree on the political viability of the efforts then.

(And, just FYI... *absent* you showing me a headcount for a close-to-majority of Congress critters prepared to vote FOR the GOP's last gasp cynical plan you AIN'T LIKELY to change my mind on that point.)

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

It would make it IMPOSSIBLE TO PASS out of Congress. (That's exactly why they came up with the scheme. They *know* it's a poison pill.)

Now... if you wanna completely bypass Congress (as I've called for previously) by convening a Constitutional Convention then great, I'm FOR THAT PLAN also.

But, even THEN, I'd want to see BOTH IDEAS put before the citizens for ratification SEPARATELY, as individual proposed amendments. (And let America decide....)

I have no fear in that decision.
