LB linked a post awhile back that said NPR was on Juan and Mara Liosson's case to ramp up the lib talk when on FOX or face the consequences. They've both done so, although I haven't seen Mara for quite awhile.

Yes, absolutely. I've been seeing that in other dems who had been soft spoken and reasonable in their positions. Kirsten Powers comes to mind. Did you see her lose it with Megyn Kelly a few weeks ago? youtube.com Reality is morphing into desperation on the Left. God, I have such a crush on Megyn. My wife (who modeled for 20 years) pats me on the head and says it's because I still have great taste in women.<g>

Anyone notice Juan Williams appears increasingly strident in advancing the progressive line? Seemed he'd moderated somewhat in the past few years, but as the fortunes of the dems have turned, he seems to be staking out a more and more lib position for himself.

It might be pressure from NPR, but I haven't noticed much change from Mara Liasson, who has always been one of the few liberal reporters who could do a decent job covering conservatives and conservative issues. My take on Juan Williams is that he is emotionally involved in the success or failure of the Obama Presidency, and Obama's decline is causing him to lose balance in his coverage.

I suspect Juan has been pressured by his lefty brethren or is looking to a new job.
