Rev John Hagee...front and center at the Beck religious revival rally...an honored guest who has called the Catholic religion, "the whore religion" and after Katrina said it was god's punishment for New Orleans gay pride parade...yup his "all merciful" god so upset with NO, he killed 1800 or so people, most not gay, and tried to destroy the rest of the city.

But hey,...it is a free country...Beck can ask any crazies to support him. It is only fair and his "believers" cannot tell the difference anyway.

The Mask Slips

After the House goes Republican will Democrats start calling on Obama to declare a dictatorship?

Woody Allen already has. Thomas Friedman will be on board - he already wishes we were a dictatorship like China. There will be a lot more wishing for dictatorship talk on the left soon.

Ed Lasky

The leftist establishment is slipping ever closer to outright derangement, driven mad by the public turning against the leftward push of Obama, Pelosi and Reid. These people cannot handle rejection.

John Podhoretz notes a revealing moment on Boston radio, when Governor Deval Patrick let slip the mask covering his disdainful elitism:

The governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick, appeared on a Boston radio show and was asked about the right of Glenn Beck and the hundreds of thousands of attendees at his Lincoln Memorial rally to do what they've done: "It's a free country," he said, then added almost off-handedly, "I wish it weren't. but it's a free country, and you gotta respect that freedom."

Listen here. The gaffe begins at 1:17

So you don't like Tea Partiers, talk radio, Republicans and think liberal elites have all the answers and should not have to explain or justify them to the little people? The mentality of these "leaders" is clear-be it Patrick, Obama, or Pelosi.
