Agree.

Rubin and others dismissed her, not because they were confused, but out of a culture of corruption.

We saw it again when he (Rubin) called the Bush administration asking them to intervene to prevent the collapse of Enron. This, of course, would have been BLATANTLY illegal, and would have served to protect Citibank at the expense of other equity holders. Yet, he had no concern over making such a request -- one that was properly ignored by the Bush administration.

I'm sorry, but malfeasance and liberalism go hand-in-hand. The Enron incident was scarcely given a second thought when it occurred, but it spoke volumes about these guys.
