"You can defend Boxer I suppose but look at the shape California is in."

The only connection between the 2 is that maybe she didn't get us enuf pork. She's a senator, doesn't run the state.

You could make the case against Arnold and the R's as governors; off the top of my head, we've had 5 years of Dem govs since '82, and 13 since '66.
We're in the shape we are cuz of Prop 13; tax policy aside, it requires a 2/3 vote on all votes, legislative and/or citizens,
on all money/tax matters. We're totally dysfunctional, especially since one party wants to prove that government doesn't work.

You can defend Boxer I suppose but look at the shape California is in. Time for a change.

Yes we are going to have a change in the Governor who when he came into office said he will turn California around. But I suppose being in movies is different than occupying the Governor's mansion. So we will have a change and surely Whitman is not going to tell us who is the worse of the two.

Besides, a change in Senator does not increase the chances of improving the state. It is a misplaced hope.
