Slash? Since Prop 13, we've gone from #1 in school spending/student to #49 or 50. Slash any more and we will be raising an entire generation of totally uneducated Bubba R's.

Conservatives are mindless. No matter what the problem their knee jerk reaction is to cut taxes. It borders on insanity.

California has two bi-weekly lotteries: Mega Millions and Super Lotto. One third of the revenues is to support schools throughout the state. Don't understand why we are cutting teachers and increase classroom sizes. Cannot blame Prop 13 for slashing education spending.
