You are correct.

Doug,

("Critical Mass" Can anyone say just what BB means by this? I take it he means the point where you can live off your assets alone, but does he put any bones on that. Also, I am just guessing. Heard him use it but only in a general sort of goal sense.)

Bob has also referred to this as the land where there are no alarm clocks.

RE: ""Critical Mass" Can anyone say just what BB means by this?"

Critical Mass is the asset base which allows one to live the lifestyle he/she wants without having to work for a pay check. He can just live off of his asset base. If he chooses to work, he can work. If he chooses not to work, it will not effect his ability to continue living as he chooses.

Each individual has a different Critical Mass. If a person wants to hitch-hike around the country and sleep in camp grounds for the rest of his life, he will not need much money and, thus, will not need a large asset base. On the other hand, if a person wants to fly to Paris every weekend for the rest of his life, he will need to have a very large asset base.

Remember, just because a person is in critical mass, that doesn't mean that he will not work anymore. Take Bill Gates, who in my opinion has a large enough asset base to do whatever he wants to do. He certainly has achieved critical mass, yet he chooses to continue working long hours at Microsoft.

Best wishes,

I2
